This Privacy Policy explains how Ryosuke Yokota (the "Developer," "we," or "us") handles information in connection with the Vocabulary: Eiken Grade 1 3000 mobile application (the "App").

1. Information processed by the App

The App processes the following categories of information:

  • Learning data stored on your device: vocabulary progress, answers, bookmarks, study history, learning statistics, goals, reminder settings, theme, language, and other App preferences. This information is stored locally and is not uploaded as your personal learning record.
  • Analytics and diagnostic data: App interactions such as screens viewed, study sessions, feature use, purchase-flow events, App and device information, device or installation identifiers, and crash or performance information. Firebase Analytics processes this information to help us understand and improve the App. We do not send vocabulary search terms, answers, or contact details as analytics event content.
  • Purchase data: product identifiers, transaction status, entitlement status, an anonymous App user identifier, and related purchase information are processed by Google Play and RevenueCat to complete, validate, restore, and manage in-app purchases. We do not receive your full payment-card details.
  • Support communications: if you contact us by email, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include in your message so that we can respond and provide support.

The App does not require you to create an account and does not intentionally collect your name, postal address, phone number, or precise location.

2. Purposes of processing

We use the information described above to:

  • provide the App's learning, settings, reminder, and purchase features;
  • measure usage, maintain reliability, diagnose problems, and improve the App;
  • process and restore purchases and prevent fraud or abuse;
  • respond to support and privacy inquiries; and
  • comply with applicable law and protect users, the Developer, and others.

3. Service providers and disclosure

We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by the following service providers only as needed to provide their services:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect legal rights or safety, or in connection with a business transfer. Service providers may process information in countries other than your own under their safeguards and applicable law.

4. Data retention and deletion

  • Local learning data remains on your device until you clear it in the App or uninstall the App.
  • Analytics and purchase-service data is retained according to the settings, policies, and legal obligations of Firebase, Google Play, and RevenueCat, and only for as long as needed for the purposes above.
  • Support emails are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain support records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations.

Because the App does not create a Developer-hosted user account, there is no App account to delete. You may clear local data from the App's settings or by uninstalling it. To request deletion of support information or ask about data handled by us, contact us using the address below. We may need limited information to verify and complete a request.

5. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information, including encrypted network connections provided by the operating system and our service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

6. Children's privacy

The App is a general vocabulary-learning tool and is not directed specifically to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us through a support communication, please contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, our service providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy at this URL and update the date above. Material changes may also be communicated in the App or store listing.
